CSA box #1 of 2012!

It’s time for another summer of  the CSA Featherstone Farm, and yesterday was the first box of the season… and it was AWESOME!

Contents: fresh oregano, garlic chives, garlic scapes, strawberries, mixed greens, green leaf lettuce, spinach, french breakfast radishes and asparagus! No rhubarb… awesome!

We (strategically) had a lot of room in our fridge and I put the oregano in jars to keep them fresh. We’ll see how it turns out.

I’m excited to see (eat) the boxes of the rest of the summer.

  1. Cut the ends of the oregano like you would fresh flowers so they can soak up the water. I wonder if you left it on the counter would it grow roots? Mint does that. Great looking CSA Box!

  2. Oh awesome! I have never heard of breakfast radishes! Let me know what you do with those?
